  1. Did you encounter the presence of God this week? If so, how?
  2. What did you learn Sunday from Noah’s faith that you will be applying to your life
  3. This Sunday we learned 4 things (See Bible verses below). Let’s talk about them . 1) Noah’s conduct (Faithful to God in his generation); 2. Noah’s faith (He believed and built); 3. God closes the Ark’s door;  and 4. Noah chose gratitude. WHich one sticks out the most to you?

Bible Verses

  • 6:5 – The LORD saw how great the wickedness of the human race had become on the earth, and that every inclination of the thoughts of the human heart was only evil all the time.
  • 6:9This is the account of Noah and his family.Noah was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time, and he walked faithfully with God. (POINT # 1 – NOAH RIGHTEOUS & BLAMELESS IN HIS GENERATION)
  • 6:13-14 So God said to Noah, “I am going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence. I am surely going to destroy both them and the earth.So make yourself an ark of cypressc wood; POINT # 2 – NOAH’S FAITH (NOAH BELIEVED GOD TO POINT OF DOING IT WHAT HE SAID)
  • 7:5And Noah did all that the Lord commanded him.
  • 7: 16The animals going in were male and female of every living thing, as God had commanded Noah. Then the Lord shut him in (POINT 3 GOD SHUTS DOORS)
  • 8:20-21Then Noah built an altar to the Lord and, taking some of all the clean animals and clean birds, he sacrificed burnt offerings on it. The Lord smelled the pleasing aroma and said in his heart: “Never again will I curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood
  • 9:1 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
  • 9:3 Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.
