A Matter of the Heart

 

1.     How did God speak to you this week?  Through this sermon?

2.     How Read Genesis 4:1-7 and Hebrews 11:4.  We read in Hebrews that Cain’s sacrifice/worship was rejected for a lack of faith.  What does that mean?  And how does that practically apply to your life?

3.     Read Isaiah 29:13.  If God cares more about the heart than the actual gift then where is your heart with God?  What would lip service look like nowadays?

4.     How does one get back to the “Heart of Worship?”

5.     In Psalm 139:23-24 David cries out for God to search his heart.  Take some time and ask God to search your heart and pray for one another.

6.     Please pray for me as I begin to reconnect with God and get back to a heart of worship.   God bless….Pastor Joe
